Reading flashcards have proven its effectiveness when it comes to beginning reading. Teachers always prefer to use flashcards to encourage learners to read with confidence. Oftentimes these are used in reading drills but others also utilize these to their remedial reading activities. Leaners are motivated to read this type of flashcards, especially with its simple yet attractive designs.

At the beginning of every class, it is advised that learners, especially in primary levels, should undergo reading drills. This is to set up the mood for learning and reading. It will also make your learners gain the confidence to go on the lessons. This method may be considered an old and traditional one but trust me, it is still effective.

You can print these materials and paste them on hardboard to make them durable. But you can also use modern technologies in presenting these and it would save you a lot of time as well.
