READING FLASHCARDS (Free Download)
When it comes to basic reading activity that is effective and brings in positive results, one of the best methods is by using reading flashcards. Some of you might think that it is already old school and way too traditional and yes you are right. But don't forget that sometimes those simple and traditional methods are the best options to choose from.
Learners can easily engage in a reading drill using some flashcards. However, the flashcards to be used shall be easy to read and not over decorated so learners can focus more on the words themselves. Using flashcards, learners will also improve their vocabulary as they encounter new and exciting words. It also improves their ability to focus since one card contains only one word that they have to read.
Using these flashcards in hard print outs or in digital forms are both simple and less expensive. On the part of the teachers, seeing good results just by using these cheap reading materials is already an achievement.
