K to 12 educational videos ready to be aired
More than 300 educational videos will be broadcasted every through televisions to help the learners in facing the new normal in education.
“Most essential learning competencies (MELCs) will be produced, video shot, edited by teachers. The requirement of total videos to be produced each month will be 352,” said Undersecretary George Apacible of Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) at the press conference for Brigada Eskwela.
The network that would broadcast these K to 12 educational videos will be the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) 13, a television network of the Government Communications Group under the Presidential Communications Operations Office.
Up to 48 educational videos will be given to various regions that could last from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
About 229 municipalities will be covered by the said K to 12 broadcasting project through the said network starting August 24.
Aside from this, radio broadcasting of this project will also be available through state radio network Philippine Broadcasting Service.
