Learners at the primary level begin to learn how the fundamental of operations works in their Mathematics subject. They start with addition then go to subtraction. As easier as it may sound, sometimes teaching these basic skills become challenging and hard for some. This requires a simple and systematic way to teach them what they need to learn.
Multiplication comes next after learning subtraction. And this is when things become more interesting and challenging. As they begin to multiply numbers, they will find it quite a long operation since it does require a bigger understanding of numbers. In younger ages, basic counting activities may be introduced in order for them to familiarize themselves with counting numbers in multiple sets. As they grow older or as they go on to the next grade level, they should be exposed to mathematical problems that would test and improve their skills in multiplication.
